Henan Provincial Government Scholarship

for Foreign Students

Henan Provincial Government Scholarshipfor Foreign Students(hereinafter referred to as“scholarship”) aims to encourage more foreign students to study in Henan, enlarge the scale of foreign students in Henan province, and improve the quality of foreign students in Henan province. Henan Province has established regulations of Henan Provincial Government Scholarships Management for the purpose of better management.

IV Eligibility

1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, be in good health, and havecleancriminal record.

2. Abide by the laws and regulations of Chinese government and rules and regulationsof ZUA.

3. Have a good attitude on learning and good academic performance.

4. The requirements for applicants’ degree and age:

Applicants for Chinese language study program must have the degree above high school and be under the age of 55.

V Application Procedure

1. ContactZUAand get the Pre-admission Letter and the application form of Henan Provincial Government Scholarshipfor Foreign Students;

2. Fill in the Form for Henan Provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students. And then complete the online application procedure at “Online Application System for ZUA International Students” (Visit http:http://gjxy.zua.edu.cn/and click “Application Online” to log in), submit online the completed Application Form.

3. Submit the application documents to ZUA in due time.

2. Highest diploma or notarized photocopy (Applicants who are students or have a job must submit official document issued by your current school or unit to prove yourcurrentstatus).Diplomas or documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

3.Power of attorney in China Authenticated by Chinese Embassy abroad or valid documents of your legal guardians in China (only required for applicants under the age of 18)

4.Foreigner Physical Examination Form or Blood Examination Report or notarized photocopy

5.Pre-admission Letter

6.Certificate of Non-criminal Record or notarized photocopy.

Certificate in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations

7. The copy of HSK Certificate (if available).

All documents should be bound together on top left corner in the order of 6.1 to 6.7.

You should submit TWO sets of bound documents.

No application documents will be returned.

VII Placement & Scholarship Confirmation

1. Application documents of recommended candidates will be considered by ZUA for eligibility and qualification. Ineligible or incomplete applications will not be considered.

2.After confirmation by ZUAandapproval byEducation Department ofHenan Province,the applicantwill get Henan Provincial Government Scholarshipfor foreign studentsto study in ZUA..

3. ZUA will send Admission Letter and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202)) to scholarship recipients before July 10th.

4. Scholarship will not be reserved if the scholarship recipient cannot register before the registration deadline.
