On the afternoon of March 4th, the delegation from Youngsan University led by Xianglv Li came to have an educational exchange with ZUA. The Vice-President of ZUA Hongjun Hao met with Xianglv Li and his team members at Room A409 of East Campus’s Administrative Building. The conference was hosted by the head of International Cooperation and Exchanges Department Xinxin Yang and accompanied by counterparts from School of Civil Aviation and Enrollment and Employment Department and so forth,
On behalf of ZUA, Hongjun Hao extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Youngsan University, briefing them on ZUA’s schooling scale, featured specialty,preponderant disciplines and international exchange and so on. Hongjun Hao believed that a couple of preponderant disciplines of Youngsan University and ZUA meshed with each other perfectly, thus both parties should take advantage of this opportunity to cooperate in many fields of common interest, such as air travel, air cabin and so on.
Xianglv Li expressed gratitude for our warm reception. He believed the two parties could cooperate with each other in many fields such as the exchange of students, reciprocal visits of teaching staff, scientific research cooperation and so on.
The two parties had a profound discussion on topics of interest, such as the exchange of Flight Attendant students, Korean students’schooling at ZUA and so on. In the end, an understanding was reached on the cooperation between the two parties. Relevant details need to be negotiated as soon as possible and practical cooperation should be followed.
After the meeting, Professor Zhixian Piao, the dean of Air Travel in Youngsan University conducted a report for our Flight Attendant students in Department of Civil Aviation. This report, named“the Status Quo and Development Trend of Flight Attendant Industry in Korea”, was hosted by Ying Shi, the president of School of Civil Aviation. Zhixian Piao gave a detailed introduction of Flight Attendant’s development trend, the quality required for flight attendants and so forth from five aspects followed by a heated interaction with students.
Youngsan University is a comprehensive university with a 4-year length of schooling. It has two campuses which are located in Haeundae District of Busan (the second largest city famous for its scenery in Korea) and Liangshan County located in the center of the industrial urban belt. Now there is 8,000 students, 9 departments,41 majorsand one basis department in the school. Besides, it runs a series of courses including undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses and doctoral courses. Its preponderant disciplines are as follows: Air Travel, Flight Attendant, Asia Business, Hotel Management, Internet Engineering, Transportation Engineering, International Trade, Shipping Bay Operation and so on.
