On May 30th, Zhao Mingyu, the president of Inha University of South Korea, visited ZUA and signed an agreement of joint training for students. ZUA's Vice President Zhao Jian attended the meeting and the signing ceremony.
During the meeting, Zhao Jian extended a warm welcome to the Korean delegation. He reviewed the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two universities since 2013, and introduced the opportunities and achievements that ZUA had in the construction of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone in recent years. Zhao said that in recent years Inha University had made remarkable and stable headway with the aid of geographical advantages, Korean Air and Hanjin Group. Especially, its logistics specialty ranked first in South Korea and among top three in Asia. And the successful practice was valuable for ZUA. He was looking forward to deepening friendship through pragmatic cooperation for mutually rapid development.
Zhao Mingyu expressed his gratitude to the warm reception as well as the concern and cultivation for the 10 international students from Inha University. He showed his pleasure at students from ZUA studying the "2+2" double degrees of GLOBA project at Inha University. He was also confident of the in-depth cooperation between both sides in the days to come.
On behalf of both sides respectively,Zhao Jian and Zhao Mingyu signed the exchange program for undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students, and Bachelor's/Master’s Combined Degree project. Besides, Liu Yuan, dean of the School of Management Engineering, and Jin Taisheng, dean of the Graduate School of Logistics at Inha University, also signed the graduate exchange agreement formaster and doctoral students.
In addition, the ceremony was also joined by officials of the Academic Affairs Office, the Personnel Department, the Graduate School, the International Office and the School of Management Engineering.
