Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics (ZUA) employs a first-class think tank team in production, learning and research and government, which will lead the development of its accounting discipline. On 13th January, ZUA establishes the Expert Advisory Committee for Accounting in Beijing, and holds the ceremony to issue letters of appointment for the committee members. Bai Xiaogang, vice president of Chinese Aeronautical Establishment (CAE), President Li Yong and Vice President Li Xianzong both from ZUA attend the ceremony.
In the ceremony, Li Yong awards the alumni Gu Huizhong the director of this committee, who is the former vice general manager and chief accountant of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, director of Expert Commission for Scientific Research, Production, Economy for National Defense of Commission of Science and Technology, vice president of Accounting Society of China (ASC), director of Commission of Accounting Management of ASC.
Li Yong also issues the letters for Tian Min, former chief accountant of general manager and chief accountant of CSGC, Li Yao, chief accountant of AVIC, Yang Ya, chief accountant of CTG, Wu Guangquan, chairman of CAIGA, Zhang Minsheng, chief accountant of AECC, Luo Qianyi, the chief accountant of CNIGC, Sheng Jiming, deputy director of Department of Finance of MIIT, Jiang Zhanhua, chief accountant of CCTEG, Fu Junyuan, chief accountant of CCCC.
Accounting is the traditional dominant discipline in ZUA and the key constructed dominant special discipline in the future. The establishment of the committee aims to build for experts a platform for the exchanges and studies on major issues of accounting, help develop ZUA's accounting into the first-class discipline nationwide, so as to accelerate the pace to develop into the special backbone university, and promote the development of accounting in China.
Li Yong hopes that taking advantage of the platform and making the best of the experts' leading, we can systematize the valuable experience of experts formed in the working practice to lead and guide the development of China's accounting. At the same time, ZUA can achieve a leapfrog development in accounting on this platform, and rise to the first level. Besides, it can give more valuable advice, guidance and recommendations to further develop ZUA.

The experts presented also combine the management of industry development with different needs of this industry, have a deep exchange of view and give advice in the development opportunities brought to manage accounting through the transformations of national economy and entrepreneurial reform, the competition and pressure faced by the universities in discipline development and talent cultivation, the impact of the information technology revolution, the renewal of teaching philosophies in the environment of innovation and startup, and multilevel personnel training in business and management.
The experts point out that there exists a weak part in the interaction between domestic School of Management and business executives, and expect a continuous bilateral cooperation by combining the entrepreneurial development demands with discipline development, so as to further bring into play their respective advantages, making this platform pragmatic and effective and boosting the development of ZUA.
ZUA's academic leaders in accounting illustrate the ways that the committee works from six aspects in regular communication, irregular survey, research and lecture, the system of extramural tutors, internships for students, employment of students, collaborative case study in government, industry, university and research.
“Today is greatly worthy of remembering for the accounting of ZUA, and it will also be the starting point for its takeoff. After he establishment, School of Accounting will take the opinions and advice earnestly form expert committee and forge ahead. Besides, with full of enthusiasm and responsible attitude to society, it will dedicate to cultivate high-level innovative and inter-disciplinary talents in accounting, auditing and financial management, with the ability to innovate and the pioneering spirit, so as to strive for building accounting as a first-class discipline nationwide.
Li Xianzong says in his closing remarks that he is greatly moved by the full supports of the experts presented to ZUA, and is grateful for their beneficial comments and suggestions. He says that ZUA will try its best to service the Expert Advisory Committee to play a better role, and expect the members to build ZUA into high-level special backbone university with the assistance of members by using this.
